Tractors and Equipment on the farm.

Like any other farm, there is always something going on with the equipment.  Sometimes it is major and sometimes not.  Sometimes it is fun, and sometimes..... You get the picture.

I have several things brewing right now.  The major items are the painting of the JD B, and the painting and rebuilding of a small farm wagon.  In addition, I have work to do on a little disk and on the sickle bar for the 8n.  Then there is the 8n it self.  It needs the steering box all redone.

John Deere B -
Some years ago, with the help of family in MI, I was able to purchase an 1940 John Deere B, with factory electric.  When I got it, it had a broken rocker arm, and a stuck valve, but it still ran.  My uncle and I went through the motor while it sat in his garage.  That was where the work stopped for the past couple of years.  I moved it down to Ohio from MI, and have used it for variouse things.
It was decided that the B would be used to pull the wagon, and the bride, down to the bridge for the wedding.  Our version of a limo to the church.  Now I am under the gun to get it painted and ready.
As of this writting, I have the frame and motor painted with one coat.

Wagon -
I bought this old wagon frame at an auction a few years back.  It is not particullarly large, nor heavy.  It is however, just the right size to pull behind the little Model B.  As you can see from the pictures, it doesn't have much.  I have the rims for it, and tires as well.  The pressure is on to get this done intime for the wedding.

....And I finaly painted the boom for the 990.  Your welcome Lance!
